I am a friendly and patient teacher of piano and music theory based in Uppingham in the pretty county of Rutland. I have been teaching for over 10 years and have developed a varied and busy studio here since 2008.
Through piano lessons I aim to develop the skills needed to become well rounded musicians with secure technique and lovers of all types of music. The importance of music making and having fun is paramount. For some students the use of graded exams is the perfect way to gauge progress and attainment. For others it is less important and therefore exams may not be used. In all lessons the essential skills and techniques needed to play the piano securely and well are taught.
